Brillante Mendoza to direct Climate Change documentary for Senator

Cannes film Awards Best director of 2009 Filipino Brillante Mendoza is directing a documentary for Senator Loren Legarda about the issue of Climate Change. The docu-film is expected to be done by January 28, which is the Lady Senator's birthday, or a bit later than that.

On an interview with the Senator, she revealed that the film would possibly have a launching of the film late January. My sources have not revealed details if the movie is going to be released in various theaters nationally or if it would be in a limited release, or on television.

Wow! Excited to watch this docu-film for climate change with Loren Legarda. I think we can learn a lot from this film especially, we've experience different natural disasters for the past year.

I know this will be an award-winning docu, with Brillante as director! At least, the climate change issue will reach a broader audience. Its about time that Filipinos get educated. Much like Al Gore's docu years ago. It's a very effective medium to convey the message of climate change, and its ill effects on our natural resources.

Oh my God. Brillante Mendoza is a brilliant director. Bagay na bagay na siyang magdirect ng documentaries especially yung mga ganitong klaseng tema. I watched Serbis and the way he cures his films is awesome. Im excited to watch this upcoming docu for sen. Loren. <3
