According to Bang Showbiz, Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto has signed on to play the title character's love interest in the 23rd James Bond movie which is set in Afghanistan. Olivia Wilde (who is the babe in the movie "Year One", she also has had roles in the television series "House", and will next be seen in the upcoming "Tron Legacy") has also been approached to play a role (spoiler alert: her role is a double-crossing UN worker based in Afghanistan). Sam Mendes will direct the film, while Peter Morgan, who wrote "The Queen", has penned the first draft of the script. Of course, Daniel Craig will be reprising his role as James Bond. Production will start late this year, no speific release date has been announced as of yet.
